West Sussex Association for Disabled people (WSAD) receives many enquiries about disability equipment with concerns about the high costs involved in their purchase. So WSAD has developed a community service to help tackle the problem of affordability, called AskDES.  We offer the opportunity for people to buy and sell locally through our AskDES website. The charge for advertising is kept very low and it is actually free to advertise donated items or those costing up to £99. Items for sale at over £100 incur a one off £10 administrative charge to cover the cost of advertising on our website for up to one year, with scope for amendments to the adverts throughout the year at no extra charge, which is quite a bargain. Adverts may also be included in advertising bulletins randomly chosen and circulated with our quarterly newsletter.

For those with internet access an advert can be created on the AskDES website independently. You can also use the search facility yourself when looking for particular items of equipment. Alternatively, you can contact our office where WSAD staff will be pleased to carry out an up to the minute search for your specific requirements and put you in touch directly with the personal vendors.  We can also print off and send you a full list of any advertised items you are seeking. We are happy to give individual guidance on advertising and will help to create an advert for you. Just make a phone call to our office Information and Advice staff and we will tell you more about the AskDES service.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Auditor, Mazars LLP, of Regency House, 3 Grosvenor Square, Southampton, SO15 2 BE, on the 25th August, 2009, completed the Audit of the Accounts of the Worth Parish Council for the year ended the 31st March, 2009.

COPIES of the Council's Annual Return of it's Statement of Accounts for 2008/2009, the Annual Accounts and the Auditors' Report thereon are available for inspection by any local government elector for the Parish at any time on application to me at the address below. Copies of those documents will be provided on request for a reasonable copying cost.
